The ability to communicate your ideas in an effective way is a skill you will need your

entire life. Although you may not understand Shakespeare or enjoy writing book
reviews, the skills you learn from writing essays, reviews, synopses are the steps you
must master to be a skillful writer and communicator. In fact, the simple projects and
presentations you do in elementary school are building these blocks already. If you
are struggling just trying to complete your daily homework or write English more
beautifully, I understand.

Whether you have struggled with English your whole life, or whether English is not

your first language and you want to be able to learn the nuances and idiomatic
phrases to use, I can help you.

I take on clients who need long term help over the school year or for 6-12 months.

For my regular clients, I am available for emergencies, individual projects, exam or
interview prep, homework, presentations and more. I tutor at the Erin Meadows
Library, my home or via Skype/ Google Hangout/ Zoom.

A bit about me:

I graduated from Queen’s University with Honours degree in English and from

Loyalist College with a diploma in Broadcast TV. I have worked as a newspaper
columnist, editor (books and legal journals), communications and advertising copy
writer, tv host, script supervisor, copy editor, online content writer, social media
consultant, grant application writer and resume writer. I am an author. I train people
how to prepare for job interviews. When I’m not doing all that, I am a filmmaker,
camera operator, life coach and copy editor for high school students applying to
attend university.

Rates:

$40/ for 30 minutes per person for groups of 2 or more
